September Mortgage Payoff Status

September 23, 2013

2 more months left until we are debt free!  I can’t wait!  Husband worked 120 hours of overtime in the month of August which made it a killer month!!!  (We pay this month’s bills with last month’s money.) We didn’t do any traveling in the month of August, we decided to stay in the area and work like crazy instead.

One of the neatest thing about the month of August was that my niece was born!  My husband’s sister had a baby, and she is the cutest thing ever!  It has been so much fun hanging out with her when we can. She enjoys, eating, sleeping, pooping, and making cute baby noises. August was also fun because several family and friends came in from out of town: Colorado, Texas and Mexico!

If you are new to this blog, this is our visual aid for our mortgage payoff.  Every black piece represents a sum of money towards our debt. We take a piece off every time we reach the dollar value of a black piece.  We are still on track to pay this thing off sometime in November….2 months away!!!!!!!

Congrats to you and your husband and also to your husband’s sister. Newborns are the greatest.
