Camping meal

Mountain Man/Beach Man Dutch Oven Breakfast of Champions!

What you will need:

12 inch Dutch Oven
Briquettes
Vegetable Oil
2 cups chopped brown onions
1 chopped green bell pepper
1 large package pork sausage
2 cups cheddar cheese
18 large eggs
4 cups cooked and chopped potatoes (we bake them ahead of time)
1.5 cup cooked and chopped bacon
Salt and Pepper to taste

 

 

Camping breakfast

Directions:

Add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil to dutch oven. Cook onions and bell peppers over 13 hot briquettes for 4 minutes
Add sausage, bacon and potatoes, cover and cook until pork is well done.
Add salt, pepper and 1 cup cheddar cheese
Add scrambled eggs
Cook and cover (approximately 12 briquettes) for approximately 15 more minutes or until eggs appear to be well done
Eat and be merry
