Open-faced Breakfast Sandwich

A few months ago I went over to one of my friends house and had one of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The preparation seemed fairly quick and simple that I thought I could replicate it for our anniversary breakfast with a side of hash browns, fruit and Mimosas.



Sourdough Bread

Pesto Sauce

Ripe Avocado, sliced

Small package of bacon


Muenster Cheese sliced



1. Bake or fry Bacon until desired Crispiness.

2. Toast Sourdough Bread.

3. Cook Egg as desired (I prefer over-easy for open-faced sandwich)

4. Spread bread with Pesto sauce and a slice of cheese.

5. Top with Egg, two pieces of bacon and a few slices of Avocado

    Yum! I love avocado in a breakfast sandwich – perfect! Actually, I love avocado in just about everything 🙂 Looks like a perfect breakfast!
