Delightful Friday

April 20, 2012

This was, by far, my favorite pin of the week:

When was the last time you have done that?  I just finished working 7 days in a row, and it’s very easy to complain and whine about working so much. What I have to remember when my attitude gets stinky is that, as a nurse, I am helping people who are very helpless in the moments that I see them, and no matter how tired I am, how stressed out I am or how mean the patient is, they deserve the best care. That’s what Jesus would do…right? It doesn’t just relate to my job, it can be anything: giving money, giving time, listening, understanding. I definitely need to do these things more, because every time I do, it changes me for the better 😉 What are the ways you are giving?

Speaking of giving, this is one of my favorite organizations that’s making the world a better place.  Check out Nuru’s website and all that they are doing.

This picture didn’t quite make the cut for the Bora Bora feature, but it’s one of my favorite ones.

The other day I had a DELIGHTFUL smoothie with my friend Miss J. It’s the simple things 😉

Beautiful random picture I came across of Miss Marilyn Monroe.  She’s timeless.

These guys are one of the best groups out there.  They are brothers called The PawnShop Kings, and they sing like angels. This is one of my favorite songs by them called “Make Me Whole.”  They rock!

Happy Friday!
