The Getty

One of things I love about living in Southern California is that everything seems accessible: the beach, museums, great foodie places, etc. My mom had never been to the Getty, so I thought it would be fun to take her there for her birthday! It was a beautiful day and perfect for walking around. My husband, sister, mom and myself had an awesome day at the museum. The gardens are my favorite, they do an awesome job of maintaining it, but I have no idea how they trim those hedges in the pond area…..
How it’s Frugal: Admission is free and it’s $15 for parking. We brought our lunch (which was an incredible deli sandwich from Stater Bros.) instead of dining at the museum.

Wow, those are some gorgeous photos mate. You always seem to have such great get-aways. I need me a good vacation that’s no secret, I miss travelling. I’m hoping we can get away this year and even more next year. Fancy some house guests lol…
