Ideas for a Chic and Frugal Bridal Shower
One of my good friends just got married last Saturday and myself and two other bridesmaids had fun planning and decorating for her bridal shower. The other two spearheaded everything, they had such great ideas!!!!! Since I’m still learning how to become more crafty, I had fun learning a few different things! One of the things I learned off the top is that it’s much easier when there are at least 3 of you setting up and planning. We were able to divide the supplies and ideas by three of us and that made it very manageable.
{A little bit of flowers goes a long way. We decided that sunflowers would be a great color addition to the shower, and they are very affordable. Gerber Daisies are another reasonably priced flower that can brighten up the mood.}
{Have a poster or framed picture about love. One of the bridesmaids already had this in her collection and it was perfect to add on the food table. You can buy a reasonably priced picture at your local walmart, target, ross or marshall’s.}
{Have a brunch. Breakfast foods are very tasty and easy to make, things on your menu can include: Bagels, cupcakes, muffins, eggs, hash browns, fruit and green salad. It’s simple and delicious!}
{Jane, the maid of honor, made these adorable bags. She bought plain brown bags, cut wrapping paper into triangles and pasted it across the bag and added a “Merci” stamp. Chelsea, another bridesmaid made the giveaway shown on the right side. Ingredients for chocolate chip oatmeal cookies in a mason jar! So cute!}
{It was Chelsea’s idea to use burlap mini-runners for decorating. It spruced up this little appetizer table.}
{We used mason jars covered with burlap sacks for the flowers! Such an easy idea.}
{My favorite thing at the food table: mini-pancakes with fruit. This was Jane’s idea and I just helped to toothpick the fruit to the pancakes. I love it because it’s so simple but looks so appetizing!}
{Here is the bride with myself and another bridesmaid, our friend Abbey. }
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!

I love the sunflowers with the Burlap table runners! Great contrast…and the pancakes look scrumptious!
I would have never thought of pairing sunflowers (yellow) and burlap (brown/tan), but it looks great! Thanks for sharing.
