Bow stations and cupcakes!

I have been meaning to share fun ideas from baby and bridal showers that I have recently attended.  It is incredible how some women are so creative and crafty! I admire that so much, my brain doesn’t know how to think in “crafty” mode.  That’s why I love PINTEREST soooooo much!!! It makes me feel empowered to try new recipes, makeup ideas, hair styles and crafts that don’t seem that hard. What I love about the following pictures from the showers was that they are all fairly easy and inexpensive to do yourself!

This fingerprint tree is a great alternative to any guest book, especially for a bridal shower.  Instructions on how to make this tree can be found here.

Anytime envelopes may be involved: baby shower, bridal shower or wedding, it is advisable and incredibly frugal to decorate your own birdcage.  A few ribbons, some cut-out letters and some glitter and you are set!  The best thing about the birdcage is that it’s very easy to drop the envelopes in, but almost impossible to take them out, envelopes have been stolen at these types of events before.
